This year is going so fast, we can barely keep up! Easter is right around the corner. We’ve had a great time in the studio so far in 2016, but we’re taking some time off for a well deserved break. Here are our opening times over Easter for your diary:
Thursday 24th March 10am – 4:30pm
Friday 25th March to Friday 1st April inclusive closed
Saturday 2nd April 10am – 1pm
Reopen as usual Tuesday 5th April

Double Image Photography
Nothing can beat the feeling of seeing your baby’s first smile. Or indeed, the first laugh, the first step… even the first sneeze! They grow up so fast, it’s too easy for us to forget these firsts. At Double Image Photography our baby portraits will allow you to capture these moments so you can appreciate them for years to come.
Our Star is Born package is a perfect way of seeing how your baby has grown in front of your very eyes. Three portrait sessions are taken over a year to show the progression that happens at this formative time in your child’s life. You are welcome to have some photos of you and your baby, as well as including any brothers or sisters – we don’t want to leave them out! At the end of the process you can choose from a range of beautiful photographs to purchase and display in your home. Included in the package are your favourite three photos in a triple frame; we think this makes for a wonderful visual of how your child has grown.
Newborn Lyra recently came to the studio with her parents for her first Star is Born portrait session. She proved to be a pro in front of the camera, as you can see! We love having little ones in the studio – we look forward to seeing Lyra for her next two sessions.
If your friend or family member has just had a baby, Star is Born vouchers are available to purchase! This would make a lovely gift for a new parent.
We also have a new addition to our baby portrait services: Baby Gallery Gift Vouchers. This includes one photo session in our studio, contact prints to choose from and two prints in a gallery folio. This results in an adorable gift for friends and family, or a novel new way of displaying sweet photographs of your baby in your own home.

You may remember our blog post all the way back in June of last year when little Basil the Spaniel popped in to the studio for a portrait session (if you haven’t read it, you missed out on some serious cuteness – get the post here). This week we’re reminding you of our pet portraits once again, with more adorable visitors.
At Double Image Photography we are known for our family portraits and we would never leave out those furrier family members! Dog owners will know that pet pups are a huge part of our lives, so it only stands to reason that we include them in the family album.
Dogs are great fun to photograph and we really enjoy having them in the studio. Recently we were delighted to be visited by Sarah who brought in her cocker spaniels Daisy and puppy Poppy. They were very well behaved and so cute, as you can see!
If your pooch is your pride and joy, why not pop in and have some photographs taken? We can capture the whole family together with the pets or let the canines have their time to shine.
Of course as well as dogs we welcome all family pets – we don’t discriminate! As long as we can fit them into the studio, we will photograph them.
